Disclaimer

The articles, tools, and examples on Clarity With AI (claritywithai.org) are published for education and general information about accounting, US tax, and the use of AI in accounting work. Please read this page before you rely on anything here.
Not professional advice
I am a Chartered Accountancy (CA) finalist in Pakistan. I am not a US CPA, an enrolled agent, or an attorney, and nothing on this site is tax, accounting, audit, or legal advice for your situation. Reading this site does not create an accountant-client or attorney-client relationship. Tax and accounting treatment depends on your facts, your entity type, and your state. Before you file a return, change your books, or make a financial decision, speak with a licensed US CPA, enrolled agent, or attorney.
Accuracy and updates
I try to keep articles accurate and I cite primary sources such as the IRS, the FASB, the IFRS Foundation, and the AICPA so you can check the rule yourself. Standards, tax law, thresholds, and software features change, and some articles may be out of date by the time you read them. Each article shows a "Last updated" date. Always confirm the current rule with the official source. If you find a mistake, please tell me through the contact page.
Examples are illustrative
Companies, clients, people, and numbers used in worked examples are made up to explain a concept, unless an article says it uses a real public filing and names the source. An example is not a prediction or a recommendation.
Calculators and tools
The free tools on this site give estimates based on the inputs you provide and on the assumptions described on each tool's page. They are provided as is, without any warranty, and they are not a substitute for a professional review or for official guidance. A flagged result in an audit tool, for example, is a reason to look closer. It is not proof of an error or fraud. Do not use a tool's output as the only basis for a tax filing or an audit conclusion.
AI tools and AI-assisted content
Some articles discuss AI tools and workflows. Vendors change features and prices often, so check the vendor's site before you buy or deploy anything. AI tools can make mistakes, so review their output before you rely on it, and do not enter confidential client information into a tool unless your engagement terms, local regulations, and the tool's privacy terms allow it. I use AI tools to help with research, drafting, and editing, and I review articles against their cited sources before publishing.
Results
Any time savings, accuracy gains, or cost figures mentioned in an article depend on the firm, the data, and how a workflow is set up. They are not a promise that you will get the same result.
External links
Articles link to outside websites, including government agencies, standard setters, and software vendors, for your convenience. I do not control those sites and I am not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Read how this works, and how to opt out, in the privacy policy. Ads do not influence what I write. At the time of writing, the articles on this site do not contain affiliate links. If I add affiliate links in the future, I will label them clearly and I will not let them change my opinion of a product.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage that results from your use of this site or from relying on its content, tools, or examples.
